Invest in a Chi. They last for years!!!

Go here, and they're a lot cheaper...Woo, a hair flat iron question.?
Just find an iron that heats up to at least 300 degrees and has heat settings and ceramic plates.

Play around with the settings until you find the right temp that works for your hair type. Keep in mind that it is the heat that flattens your hair, not the name brand. So don't fall for over priced ,over hyped products.

I use iron in my salon that I payed 30 bucks for about 2 yrs ago and have never had a problem with it. It's a Conair Pro I bought on sale at sally bty supply.

Don't fall for the hype. You don't need to spend a small fortune.
I have a CHI and it's amazing. Get that one. I got mine for about $100, i donno if that's out of your price range or not, but it's def worth it!! Make sure you do use a thermal protector on your hair no matter what kind of straightener you get. It will look TONS healthier. Trust me.
I highly recommend the Chi there amazing, I used to have a cheap revlon one and that ruined my hair kinda, and then i started using a Chi and it works amazingly.
Just use heat protection spray and then use ur flat iron
Get a Chi,it works a lot better.
Get a Chi, I got mine for like $80 try www.folica.com, they have discounted prices on the CHI
