I have been trying for years to find a cheap flat iron that works. Take it from someone who has thick curly brown hair as well--there are no cheap alternatives to an expensive flat iron. The best advice is to look around on ebay or like the other girl suggested, go to a beauty supply and look for one that may be on sale. But you will have to end up buying an expensive one to actually straighten your hair. Please do the right thing and dont waste all your money going through several cheap ones that will not work.A good cheap hair flat iron?
I went to sally beauty supply and got a good one for 30 bucks on sale..they always have good ones reduced. Try it if there is one in your area! Good luck!
