Which is more damaging for my hair? Flat iron or chemically straightening?

I have nice wavy hair on the top of my head and curly hair underneath. Everyday i use a large barrel curling iron on the bottom half of my hair so that it looks more like the upper layers of my hair. I have horrible split ends!! Would it be more damaging to continue doing this, or would it be worse to chemically straighten the under layers of my hair? Because i'm sure the chemical version would make life easier but i don't want to reck my hair.Which is more damaging for my hair? Flat iron or chemically straightening?
the chemicals are wayyy worse. dont do it!Which is more damaging for my hair? Flat iron or chemically straightening?
your better off just doing it everyday. chemically is so bad, and the damage is never-ending. trust me.
It depends on the texture of your hair. Flat Irons are probably the most damaging. they go up to 475 degrees. When you get chemically straightening they out a product that doubles as what keeps it straight and also protects from the heat. And, you don't have to straighten as often.
Chemicals will ruin your hair even more.Just continue with the flat ironing, but what will help your split ends is a good heat protect product and good shampoo and coditioner for your hair . Too help get rid off your split ends you could also try a deep conditioner.
