Every flat iron splits your ends. There is nothing spectacular about it. The best advice would be to learn how to style hair with a blow dryer.What is so good about the CHI hair flat iron?
the chi is supposedly really good because it goes up to a high temperature but its actually not that great. my friend has it and usually she never gets split ends and the chi gave her HORRRIIIBLLEEEE spliiit ends. get a babyliss straightener instead. it goes up to the same temperature but its alottt better for your hair. i think a Sedu flat iron is better for your hair than a CHi too. they are all aroundd the same price
I love my CHI, I can always get predictable results, its convenient, heats quickly, you can pack it in your carry on luggage. One thing though, you have to be a Jedi knight to wield it around and get tighter spiral curls, but I am getting there...I paid $75 on amazon, but that only comes with a 30day warranty. The plug broke a week later and I shipped it back for an exchange no questions. If you buy from an authorized retailer you get the full lifetime.
It isn't that great. The best hair straighteners out there are GHD's. I've tried the chi and it didn't even straighten that well. Sure the after product looked great but i had to go over each section of hair like 4-5 times just to achieve it. It also burnt my hair pretty badly.
