I want to get a good flat iron that won't damage my hair too bad, and will straighten it pretty fast and make it pretty :o) My friend bought the Chi and she said it was really expensive, is this one the best? If it will last a long time and work good I will buy it but I don't know if it is worth it. Also where do I buy one?The best hair flat iron/straightner?
Honestly the Chi is great, but the price sometimes isn't worth it because it dies faster than other brands. There is a revlon straightener you can buy at kmart/walmart (average cost is $35 for it) it is a ceramic straightener. The handle is black and the ceramic is white, with a red lip around it. I would not normally recommend anything revlon however this straightener seems to work better than most of the top marketed irons. As long as you use it properly it will work great and won't damage your hair at all. It works on thin and thick hair as well as wet or dry, though I recommended waiting until your hair is air dried before using it.The best hair flat iron/straightner?
I bought solia and it dosen't cost a lot, it's rated better than chi (check folica), dosen't damage hair, makes you hair really really straight, keeps your hair straight for a week. SO it is really good.
I heard that CHIs are really good and worth the price. I have a straightener/flat iron from another brand called Bion. Mine is great, I can use it daily with barely any damage. It's more expensive than the CHI though. My mom got it for me so I don't know where or how much, sorry. I've heard good things about the ghd too, but I'd definitely recommend the CHI or Bion - they're better known as far as I know.
CHIs are around $200 regular price I think, but Drugstore.com has them for cheaper, $90. And drugstore.com is a great website to buy from; I've purchased from them several times. Great service! You could also ask at a local hair salon and they'll probably have them too.
