take a shower, air dry make sure its completely dry, spray on straight sexy hair (by big sexy hair) evenly through out my hair, then spray it on individual pieces right before i straighten it for extra protection(:
it leaves my hair with a nice even shine (remember to not spray too much by ur roots, it might make ur hair look greasy)
if u hear a sizzling sound its the flatiron burning the spray which is good because that means its not burning ur hair(:
you can buy it at most hair salons, or at sallys beauty supplies.
hope i helped %26amp; good luck(:Hair Flat iron question !!!!! easy point :) :) plzzzz help !?
best thing ever
KQC spray or something like that.
First if you blow dry and then iron it you are doing double the damage to your hair. Products to protect your hair from heat help but they don't stop the damage completely. Wash your hair with a really moisturizing shampoo and conditioner - I use Redken. Wrap a towel around your head when you get out and leave it there while you get dressed and do your make up - about half an hour -then it will be towel-dried. Don't rub the towel on your head - it causes tangles. First I use a leave in conditioner or a great product called damage control by Aveda (you can buy it at an Aveda salon an Aveda store or on-line). Then I comb my hair and apply Align 12 by Redken and comb it through my hair and let my hair air dry completely if you are in a hurry you can blow dry but I definitely suggest using a spray heat protectant to get more coverage. After it is bone dry I pull up the top sections and pin them, then I apply a glossing cream to the rest of my hair (I use Fekkai, Use a pea size amount only on your whole head so you will use teeny tiny bits on sections of your hair $19 - buy it at Sephora or Bath %26amp; Body Works). Just continue by letting down other sections of hair adding product and pulling the iron slowly but smoothly down the sections. Redken products can be bought at a salon or Trade Secret. Good luck! Hope this helped!

Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?
Before the 20th century, women in Europe and America w/ wavy ginger hair were considered the most beautiful. Even the great Galileo wrote medical treatise on how the women of Europe could have grit for whitening the teeth and a recipe for auburn hair.
Nowadays, even extremely sound-minded women clutch their Chi ceramic irons to their bosoms like a holy mandate.
I have two friends w/ long luscious chestnut hair. They both flat iron their hair like their lives depends upon it. They have both been doing this since jr high school and are now college seniors. Either can explain why they continue the daily struggle to make their hair stick-straight at such a high cost in products, time and damage to their hair.
On days that one of them sleeps in late, I might meet her for lunch and she always exclaims shamfully ';My hair is awful today! It鈥檚 terrible! I hate it.';
My question always is what is wrong with those lovely God-given face-framing curls, ringlets and waves in the first place. Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?
I gave up ironing my hair years ago. It's just what the media likes these days. I love my hair and I stand out in the crowd. We tend to get brain washed into thinking we have to be like everyone else and a majority of people are not blessed with the curls and waves. Therefore, (and I was one of the blind followers for a long time) it makes sense that so many girls try to hide their beautiful locks in favor of blending in. Once they get self-esteem, they usually stop. I know I did and I'll never go back. Why do girls/women with nice wavy hair flat-iron or straighten it like a religion?
Not all women/girls do so.
I agree with you--waves and curls are so pretty.
I love my waves.
Good luck
It's because we want what we do not have, if my hair is straight I want curly hair, if it is curly I want straight hair. Straight hair is really ';in'; right now as well.
What a strange trend. I didn't even know that women did that until you
mentioned it. There are of course women with naturally straight hair that
use curling irons to make their hair wavy. Evidently, some women innately
prefer straight hair, and others innately prefer wavy hair.
Wavy hair is characterized by the abstract property of fineness, such
that people with a temperament of fineness prefer it, and people with a
temperament of crudeness detest it.
Well, I have wavy hair but sometimes I like having the sleek look of straight hair. I had pin straight hair my whole life then about 3 years ago my hair started getting wavy--I don't know why. Actually it's crazy wavy right now because it's humid. I like wavy sometimes because I don't have to do it to get ready to go somewhere--a little styling product, air dry and go. I like my hair both ways.
I think sometimes people just get bored with seeing the same thing in the mirror every day, or maybe they find a style that they think makes them look good, so they just stick with it. Sometimes it's difficult to see yourself for how you naturally are and really appreciate it. Even I tend to think I look like a monster without a bit of makeup here and there, when in the past I thought makeup was pointless and never wore any. I think people just fall into a routine of doing things and stay that way.
they don't see what you see and in there opinion they think they are hidious unless they meet their self percieved idea of beauty

Is it feminine/gay or both for a guy to get his hair flat-ironed and wrapped at a beauty salon?
First, let me start by saying I'm bald. A friend of mine knows a guy who goes to the beauty salon to get his hair ';flat-ironed'; and wrapped. Supposedly he's 'straight'. (Men ask a female to explain what 'a wrap' is.) Basically, it's when you wrap your hair around your head in a circular pattern. Can this be viewed as a sign of feminine tendency or gayness? Does this violate section 911 of the Man Law?? Kinda like a poll. Thanks. Is it feminine/gay or both for a guy to get his hair flat-ironed and wrapped at a beauty salon?
nopIs it feminine/gay or both for a guy to get his hair flat-ironed and wrapped at a beauty salon?
Flat ironing your hair makes it look smoother and a lot nicer regardless if ur a guy or chick. A guy wrapping his hair around his head? Sounds very unattractive. Tell your friend to buy a wig instead..or of course go bald.

What is more damage, Hair chemically straightened or Hair Flat Ironed over a 3 year period?
Okay I'm a guy and I do flat iron my hair, I grew out my hair and it was nice wavy hair that I liked, I got it cut about a month ago and it was a terrible terrible cut! my top layer is shorter than my layer under it, looks retarded. The thing is my hairstylist used a flat iron on my hair and made it really straight, I liked how that thing works but I really hate what my hair looks like when it goes with it's natural wave now, SO I flat iron every time I wash my hair, I'm not completely ignorant about using a flat iron I'm okay with it and it just helps the way I look (I have gotten compliments) the way I do it makes it look natural and not like I really flat ironed the hell out of it, my question is, if I kept using the flat iron for about 3 years and did it every other 3 days, is that more damaging to my hair than getting it chemically straightened at a salon...? Sorry this is getting long, but I grew out my hair for 2 years and I do NOT even contemplate of getting a short haircutWhat is more damage, Hair chemically straightened or Hair Flat Ironed over a 3 year period?
Well I think dat chemically straightening can be worser, but it depends where u go 2 get it straightened.
U can't be sure coz ur hair can fall out if done by sum1 inexperienced.
So yeah, I reckon stik wit da flat iron. What is more damage, Hair chemically straightened or Hair Flat Ironed over a 3 year period?
flat irons are less damaging make sure you use thermal protectants you can also use a wet to dry iron when your hair is damp which will keep it from going curly in damp weather.but will go back to curly when shampooed and make sure you use good conditioners hope this helps
For straightening hair at home, you can use a hair iron and a straightening shampoo will also help. If you wish to straighten for a longer time, you can undergo Japanese hair straightening. I found this website useful - http://hcr.in/straighten.html
both, beauty has it's price
flat ironing ur hair every single day is a worse option because all the protien in your hair gets burnt due to which ur hair start falling, hair texture degrades over time, one can see after washing them when they flat iron. probably thats why you do not like your natural waves now. not like chemical rebonding is a great option but it definitely wins over continuous flat ironing.
believe me i have seen girls in my school. they always have perfectly straight hair(flat ironed ie), the next day when it is washed it looks horribe .......like straw

What is the best hair flat iron?
I have very curly hair, but it's not at all unmanageable...i just like straightening it. I got one for 80$ from my hair dresser which was a one inch...it heated up relatively quick, but I started to notice the black iron part was deteriorating, and my hair wasn't staying straight.
so, i've decided i need a new one. i need a brand that is reliable, and needs to likely be about (at least) 2 inches wide. and i would also love one that keeps my hair straight!!!!
i don't care if it's ceramic or not, i just want a polished look like everyone else.
thanks for any help! What is the best hair flat iron?
babyliss they have them online for 100 dollars they work really good i have oneWhat is the best hair flat iron?
';remington wet 2 straight';. it works WONDERS! I have had the same straightener for 3 years and it hasn't let me down, even though the ceramic has peeled off from age. I wouldn't replace it though! %26lt;3
P.S. I only paid 30 bucks for it! My friend recently bought the same one for the same price too!
I have a GVP straightener. I bought it at Sally Beauty. I think I paid less than $60 for it. I really like it. They have them in all colors and patterns.
http://www.sallybeauty.com/gvp-straightn鈥?/a>
I know my friend has one from Conair and it works like wonders! She did it to me and if you just spend ten minutes doing it then it will look really good. But the bad part is that you can't just do a quick run through, you would go over a piece, but still only taking 10 Minutes! I love it and I hope this helps you!
chi, $160 jcpenny...i can never go wrong with chi irons.
The kiyoseki is the best straightener in the world. It straightens your hair and it can curl you hair if you want. And when its hot outside your hair stays straight go to www.kstyler.com and watch the commercial hope this helped.=)

What is the best hair flat iron?
I need to buy a nice flat iron. I heard that CHI is good. I also heard that FHI is good. I don't care too much about the price, as long as it straightens my hair very well. Can you send me a link and tell me the exact name and model? If there are other brands that you like then please give me the reason why you like them. Thanks!
Unlike the Coriolis flat iron that i have that does a poor job and i have to go over it a bunch and within 15 minutes the ends are no longer straight. I payed $150 for the coriolois which sucks! What is the best hair flat iron?
mine was under $30, its a cricket.. i went to a beauty store in the mall and asked them for a good hair straightener under 30 bucks and they gane me a cricket 2x its amazing ive had it for about 4months i love it. also dont got to like a sephora store and spend 150bucks cheep is better :) okk hope that helps (also DONT GET A CONAIR THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND DONT WORK) =)What is the best hair flat iron?
i have coriolis and it does a great job at straightening my hair and curling it, i paid a lil bit too much for it but i know i definitely will get another on Ebay for 40 bucks when the time comes. My friend had a Chi and it broke within a few months
Dude, go to this website
www.folica.com
You can find both the CHI and the FHI. I have been using the CHI for two years and my hair has never been healthier, shinnier or straighter. I think anything that has the ceramic is pretty good so you can't go wrong with either CHI or FHI.
Make sure you buy one that is a good width for the length of your hair. Mine is shoulder length with bangs so the 1 inch one is perfect for me, if your hair is longer try to find a wider one to save time when straightening.
Good luck!
